Questions
Is the guide really free?
Yes. The PDF is free. You give us your email address, and we send you the guide plus a short series of emails with tips and more free plans. You can unsubscribe at any time.
What tools do I need?
Most projects need a saw for straight crosscuts (a circular saw, miter saw or even a handsaw), a drill/driver, a tape measure, a square, clamps and sandpaper. Each project lists its own tools, and the guide includes a minimum starter kit.
Have the plans been built and tested?
The plans are drawn on paper with standard lumber sizes and simple joinery, and every cut list was checked against the board lengths you buy at the store. Lumber varies, so measure your actual boards and dry fit parts before you glue or screw.
Will you email me offers?
Mostly you will get practical tips and free plans. Some emails recommend paid products, such as a larger plan library, and some of those links are affiliate links. We say so clearly, and you can unsubscribe in one click.
I am a complete beginner. Is this for me?
Yes. The projects start with a cutting board and a wall shelf and build up to a workbench and a raised garden bed. Each one teaches a basic skill you will use again.
